At Sava’s Safe Haven, everything we are today exists because of a family who never gave up.

For over a decade, the Sava family has stood at the frontlines of animal rescue—saving lives, building shelter with their own hands, and offering hope where there was none.

This month, in one of the most emotional moments in our journey, Alexandra, one of our founders and a tireless voice for the voiceless, made a powerful choice:

Instead of celebrating with gifts or cake, she chose to dedicate her special day to something much bigger:

Our current shelter has given safety to thousands of animals over the years, but it is now in urgent need of rebuilding. The new shelter will include:

• Proper dog rooms to withstand all seasons

• A veterinary clinic for on-site medical care

• A food bank and donation warehouse

• Space for recovery, comfort, and a second chance

This is the next chapter—and it’s one we cannot write without you.
